About the Program

The Puppy Obedience program is designed for puppies from the age of 8 weeks to 6 months — the most crucial and influential time for learning and development. The curriculum for this program focuses on short, consistent sessions to accommodate the shorter attention spans of developing brains and to maintain enthusiasm and desire to work with you. Puppies are little sponges, and the work we put in when they’re young can pay the entire foundation of the rest of their lives.

Over the course of five lessons, we’ll give you the tools and confidence to raise a social, secure, and well-rounded puppy. Your puppy will be seamlessly integrated into the flow and routine of the household, be happy to relax in their crate, and able to greet and exist around all house members and visitors without jumping or mouthing. You’ll also be able to confidently introduce them to new dogs and bring them into new environments with ease.

  • Potty training — get your puppy on a consistent feeding and bathroom routine to limit accidents in the house

  • Crate training — puppies require upwards of 20 hours of sleep per day. Get them to comfortably relax in the crate to give you peace of mind that they’re getting enough rest and not into trouble

  • Mouthing and teething — puppies bite, but it doesn’t have to be taken out on you. Teach calming behaviors and channeling to make sure your puppy knows what they can and cannot put their teeth on

  • Proper Socialization — confident and social puppies are built through safe and healthy socialization and exposure to various dogs, people, environments and experiences. We’ll guide you through all of it

  • Polite greetings — tackle jumping on you and guests early on so it doesn’t become an issue in the future

  • Owner coaching — throughout each lesson, you will take the leash and learn to train and communicate with your puppy so you feel confident in raising them and helping them become a social and confident dog
